...and didn't even know it!
Check out this fabulous article the in the NY Times today (username: ArticleReader1, PW: reads) - http://www.nytimes.com/2006/06/29/fashion/thursdaystyles/29flips.html?_r=1&oref=slogin
As you might have guessed form the name of this blog and my online moniker, I have a bit of an obsession with flip flops. They are my footwear of choice 365 days a year, if I can get away with it. Yes, I wear them when it rains and snows. Yes, I have dressy ones and casuals. No, I don't not always wear them to work or special events. If I have an important meeting or special event that requires it, I'll wear more apropriate shoes. But, if I had my choice I'd wear them all the time.
I own more than 50 pairs and am always looking to add to the collection. How else can a girl on a budget have a pair of shoes that matches almost every outfit in her closet?
My most expensive pair? A new addition from a recent trip to Chicago. They're Cubs flip flops and they cost $25. Purchased at Wrigley Field thankyouverymuch!
My favorite pair? A black pair with rhinestone straps purchased on vacation at the Kalahari in the Wisconsin Dells - they've seen better days, but they are so cute and go with everything. They cost like $15 and I've had them for three years.
I'll have to post a picture or two of the collection sometime....

My name is Alfred Kuchinski and last year my ninety plus year old mother was ill.
I started wearing flip flops around the house just in case Mom had an "accident" in the bathroom at night.
Mom is OKAY and now I am a flip flop addict. (NO, I DO NOT WEAR THEM TO CHURCH!)
I live in Northeastern Pennsylvania and whenever we had a light show I even shoveled snow in flip flops.
We had a light winter so I often "scooped snow" with bare piggies.
I love pretty feet on ladies but naaa DON'T WEAR THEM TO WORK. You would have to have a very relaxed work enviroment...NOT the bank or any office.
Any place else...please show me your toes...I have a fetish!
